Smoke Signals is an indigenous newsletter to link the
full-blooded American Indian people racially identified as black Americans as a
collective. Smoke Signals is for all the Descendants of the American Indian
people. It is time to awaken.
Our goal threw this publication is to promote awareness
to black American people about their Indigenous American
Heritage, human rights , legal positions,
collective development, ancestral traditions of the past, and
sustainable
living . Smoke Signals, will share timely news articles and
reports
on events affecting the viability of our people at large and answer
questions
and concerns about issues that will affect Indigenous (Black) Americans
today.
Today there are very few Indigenous or black American newspapers
interested in educating
our people about the issues concerning our collective survival or how
we are to
maintain our viability into the future.. Today, there is a systematic
effort to
isolate the Black American community into a position of invisibility,
and
erasing all recognition of there ancestral humanity and factual ethnic
origins.
All cultures comprises of the essential
knowledge to support the viability of a people, without cultural
awareness, the
future generations of any given collective will lose the ability to
sustain
themselves on the planet. Our news papers
are non informative. They, keep us ignorant about ourselves. Ignorance
creates
apathy, Apathy creates victims, or death. Smoke signals represent
change. It is time for our people to stop being exploited,
victimized and quietly ignoring our own genocide..
We at FIAAH understand how critical it is for our
collective condition in America to be
recognized by our individual people, families and communities to
respond with a
sense of urgency spread to all of our people to act, educate
themselves and take , steps towards insuring your
fundamental responsibility towards insuring
our people sustain their viability in America and our people don’t die
out in
the next 40 years from ignorance of consciousness about our viability
connection thru our homeland,..
