Dear Mrs. Louise Arbour,
I am writing to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights about
a humanitarian holocaust happening against the American Indian descendants racially
identified as black Americans living in their homeland called America .
The world is now aware of the hurricane that severely damaged the United States’,
triggering the breakdown of the antiquated systems built to stop the flooding
of the urban city called New Orleans. Currently, there are over 150.000 American
Indian people racially identified as Black/Negro/African American people trapped
in the flooded urban city of New Orleans and thousands of people are shelter
less in three other states: Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Over 50,000 American
Indian/Negro/ black American people have perished because of the deliberate
city planning of New Orleans placing the American Indian descendants/black American
community’s in the flood plane for the levees sustaining the corporate
development of New Orleans.( please review www.gnocdc.org.)
. The situation was compounded by the fact the U.S efforts towards the disaster
relief did not include saving the lives of the American Indian descendants /black
American people by not evacuating hospitals serving their communities or provide
sustaining relief of food and water at the shelters used as refuge by them from
the rising waters. Over the last few days , American Indian descendants/ black
American people have been forced into a survival situation forcing people to
resort to acquiring what they need from the remaining resources left in the
city
Since the occurrence of this horrible disaster, the American Indian descendants
racially identified as black Americans who have survived the flooding of their
communities are now being referred to as refugees in America instead of U.S
citizens ,by the U.S.
The U.S. media reporting this national disaster started promoting the desperate
actions of the surviving American Indian people racially identified as Negro/black
Americans into “a urban war” conflict in New Orleans allowing the
creation of a “military state” and diverting the focus from the
lack of response by the U.S. government towards sustaining the viability of
the indigenous American people trapped in the man made disaster as a result
from Hurricane Kristina.
As a result, the U.S sent in the U.S military for the purpose of actively
protecting property, instead of life.
It is clear from its action, FEMA was not established to give assistance to
the communities for American Indian descendants racially identified as Negro/
black American people destroyed as a result of a natural disaster.
Historically, the American Indian descendants racially identified as black
American race have been a marginalized population with in the U.S that primarily
remains isolated and invisible . Over the past generations, have been forced
to assimilate in order to integrate into the U.S society However the integration
process has stripped the people of their fundamental human right to their homeland..
As a result, over 80% live in poverty, with ethnic identity theft, cultural
exploitation, discrimination, and environmental ethnocide. These acts by the
U.S has created a perpetual slow decay for the race American Indian/Negro/black
American collective ability to sustain their collective viability in the U.S.
It is a long forgotten truth the remaining American Indians as the Negro/black
American race collective in the U.S currently consist of over 34 million people.
They live with the same or lower condition of poverty as many third world countries.
The media images currently being shown all over the world has finally exposed
the truth and effects of generations of systematic genocide perpetuated against
the remaining American Indian descendants by the U.S government for over 200
years.
The Office for the High Commission for Human Rights is well aware of the issues
surrounding the perpetual genocide of the Indigenous races of people living
in their lands under occupation by newly established governments. FIAAH has
brought the situation of the American Indian descendants living under U.S jurisdiction
to international attention and to your office previously.
Now that the horrible truth (by accident from the media) has been exposed
we are requesting again , for the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights
to place the American Indian descendants racially identified as Negro/ black
Americans peoples living under U.S. jurisdiction to be placed under “human
rights watch”.
We are also requesting the protection and assurance of all naturalized U.S citizens
representing American Indian descendants who are under the racial identity of
Negro/ Black Americans , of their fundamental human rights to remain in their
homeland. Further, we are requesting you to monitor and stop any international
efforts undertaken by the U.S to remove the American Indians descendants/black
American “peoples” to any off shore locations( including boats).
American Indian descendants racially identified as black Americans are not refugees
from another land infiltrating into America. They are the Indigenous “
people’s” by heritage belonging to America. They are therefore entitled
to the fundamental Human right to receive all U.S. humanitarian aid agreed by
international treaties ratified by the U.S towards sustaining their life and
continued viability in their homeland.
We are requesting again for American Indian descendants racially identified
as Negro/black Americans living under U.S jurisdiction to also be included in
international discussions for poverty eradication agenda’s and placed
under the same humanitarian considerations shown to third world people living
under conflict.
We at FIAAH are monitoring this situation closely, with great concern and we
are fearful of the U.S government covert agenda’s and policies towards
the completion for the eradication of the American Indian descendants refereed
to as Negro /black American people’s
We are fully aware of the holocaust that will result if the escalation of the
dehumanizing circumstances that are being created for the American Indian descendants/black
American people is allowed to continue unabated, isolated and invisible.
It is unfortunate the American Indian descendants racially identified as Negro/black
American people have not had in the past any governmental nor independent non
governmental representatives to speak on their behalf for the issues concerning
their People’s. FIAAH is established to fill in the vacuum by advocating
for the rights and entitlements belonging to the American Indian descendants
racially identified as Negro /black American peoples within the U.S jurisdiction.
We are willing to develop and support all international efforts toward implementation
of viable solutions for creating avenues to rebuild the support systems needed
to rebuild the American Indian people ability to sustain themselves collectively
in the U.S
Thank you for reviewing this notice and we look forward to hearing your prompt
response to this dire matter.
Sincerely,
Rev. RaDine Amen-ra
